Department staff: 11 professors, 23 senior lectures.
Department was founded in may 2005 and provides preparation of specialists on the speciality "Automated systems of processing of the information and management" (specialisations: “Intellectual systems” and “Automated systems in administrative management”), master degree students on major "Informatics and computer facilities” (Master Degree programme “Intellectual systems”).
A number of courses are conducted in English.
Best students have the opportunity to take part in international semesters and exchange programmes and upgrading courses at leading foreign universities.
During their studying the students make full use of all IIEP's modern infrastructure possibilities: well-equipped computer classrooms, access to the Internet resources, modern video and projecting equipment.
