Department of Physics provides base preparation in General Physics to IIEP’s students, conducts active methodical work on application of modern computer technologies in teaching of natural-science disciplines.
Department of Physics launched Master Degree program “Mathematical modeling of mechanical systems” – specialization “Applied mechanics” .
Core subjects:
- General Physics - for the preuniversity preparation program
- General Physics - for Bachelor Degree program with intensive learning of Russian language
- Concepts of modern natural sciences
- Cryomedicine and cryomedical devices – for the Faculty of Medical Physics and Bioengineering
Department has well-equipped laboratory with computer support, access to the Internet resources.
Scientific research directions:
- Physical and technical problems of thermoelectric power engineering
- Spectrography of intermolecular energy exchange
- New teaching technologies in “Physics” and “Concepts of modern natural science”
